Hardie board is fibre cement siding manufactured by James Hardie building products. Two of their most popular products are HardiePlank (horizontal lap siding) and HardiePanel (vertical siding). The fibre cement siding is made from Portland cement mixed with ground sand, cellulose fibre and other additives. The product is also known as cement fibre cladding, concrete cladding and fibre cement siding.

Fibre cement cladding continues to promise the best of many worlds. Made with cement, sand, cellulose and other additives, it is fire-resistant, provides great durability and longevity and remains a sought-after look with very few signs of aging over many years.
